Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born on the 2nd of December 1968) is an American actress best known for her performances on daytime TV, guest appearances and made-for-television films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap drama General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who was a psychologist, and Martin Sofer, an Orthodox Rabbi.
In 1970, Sofer moved to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She then attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school located in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She attended North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Sofer first played Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a manager of a band. The first time she was seen was as Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
